Research Funding Grants

Dr. Steven SzygendaSMU is currently seeking funding to support the SMU research program to advance the development of Disaster Tolerance computing and communications systems.

The SMU School of Engineering in cooperation with the SMU School of Computer Science are jointly pursuing options for both private and public grants.

Many of the organization, managerial, technological and process challenges surrounding Disaster Tolerance affect both private corporate entities as well as government organizations.

Organizations who experience liability from these challenges would benefit from application of formal research to address specific continuity problems.  Access to talented and intelligent researchers with the support of a senior executive research management team provides valuable resources to address these issues.

Visit my contact section for more information on how your organization may benefit from SMU research in Disaster Tolerance.

Sincerely,
Stephen A. Szygenda, Ph.D., P.E.
