Wafer Fabrication Manager, DMOS6 2002 - present
Texas Instruments

Manage TI's DMOS6 300mm wafer fabrication facility at 130nm and 90nm technology nodes. As TI’s only 300mm fab, DMOS6 has more than 800 employees and is a $3 billion investment in building and equipment. DMOS6 is TI’s top revenue generating facility.
Ensure TI’s readiness for technology development transition from 200mm to 300mm.
Define and enable the way TI manufactures digital signal processors (DSPs), which are the drivers for TI’s substantial market share in the wireless market space.
Enable advanced semiconductor manufacturing in the United States that is competitive with factories operating in nations that have a labor advantage.
Sima is the only woman in the semiconductor industry who is managing a 300mm fab. She is also a Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS), which is part of TI's Technical Ladder.
