In 1991, Gary and I finished the '91' car, as we called it (even though it rarely had the number 91). By 1993 it had all the neat parts listed elsewhere on this website: Dry sump, sliding block, drilled rotors, special spherical bearings, remote shifter, twin spark, quarter master clutch, and more! Gary lived to drive this car for four years, until he died of natural causes in 1996. I closed Valco Alfa Romeo in the same year, though it broke my heart to do so. I had this car for years before finally selling it, but I still have many wonderful memories.
