The first thing to do is to jack up the front of the car and remove the entire front structure, including the nose panel, core support, and even the radiator and its supports. The only thing that remains is the air conditioner condensor, and that's only because it is a bigger pain to break the a/c lines than it is to work around the dangling condensor core.
