These are two of the intake ports on the MINI cylinder head. The one on the left, with the nasty aluminum built up inside, is the stock port. This head has a good design, as I've stated before, but these ports look like they will flow MUCH better with some of the excess metal removed. 

The port on the right has been rough-ported, and you can already see the difference.
