I had just finished reworking John's GTV in time for this event (have a look at my work using the "engine rebuild" button). We managed to put about 300 miles on the engine during break-in before John drove it down to the event (about 220 miles further). The fresh engine was amazingly strong, and it didn't use a detectable amount of oil all weekend. John was (and is) very impressed with the new engine!
