My work exposes the unexpected confluence of two seemingly different disciplines – computer programming and music. These divergent interests coalesce into unique and complex challenges, demanding both assiduous ambition and innovative solutions. My current research explores the field of Musical Computing with a focus on Musical Effects. I am presently creating a suite of software to transform a one voice musical score in several ways (e.g. rhythm, pitch, pattern). The program aims to offer musicians a new means to practice passages to make learning music faster and more efficient. It may also prove of value to composers by providing thematic variations to incorporate into their pieces
