When asked to select which product to install choose
“Rational Rose 2000 Enterprise Edition”.
You will then be asked the usual types of questions that go along with
software instillation.

You will be told to restart your computer to complete the
instillation process. Do so.
5)
After restarting your computer and instillation has
completed, you will be given the opportunity to launch the License Key
Administrator. Do so. The License Key Administrator will display a
tabbed folder.
6)

the field RATIONAL ACCOUNT NUMBER (PRIMARY), enter the account number provided
by Dr. Evans. The number will be
announced in class or you may contact Dr. Evans by email.

Node-Locked option button. (3) Check
the box “Send all request to Rational immediately” and then click the OK
command button. The request will then
be e-mailed to Rational. Rational will
e-mail back the permanent license number.
9)
The response from Rational will have an attached file. Save the file to disk, making sure that it
has a .UPD extension.
10)
Run the License Key Administrator and click the Import
License Key(s)… button on the License Key(s) tab page.
