Grading

  • Home works (40%)
  • Exams (50%) : One midterm exam (20%) and one final exam (30%)

Topics

This is an introductory course on the analysis and design of analog and digital communication systems. The topics covered in the course include:

  • AM/FM modulation
  • Pulse code modulation
  • Communication through noisy channels
  • Digital modulation
  • Source coding
  • Channel coding
