Slides for the book by Jeff Tian, Ph.D., P.E.
Software Quality Engineering:
Testing, Quality Assurance, and
Quantifiable Improvement
Slides, organized by Chapters
This is the set of updated slides (V2 or the 2007 version),
completed by 4/20/2007, with additional minor updates up until 8/29/2007.
The primary distinction between this set and the previous set
I posted in 2005 (and updated until the end of 2006) is that
the figures and tables are embedded in the new set for seamless
presentation.
However, if you prefer the old text-only set, it's still
available here.
-
Part I (Chapters 1-5). Overview and Basics.
-
Part II (Chapters 6-12). Software Testing:
models & techniques, management, automation, and integration,
-
Part III (Chapters 13-17). Other Quality Assurance Techniques:
defect prevention, process improvement, inspection, formal verification,
fault tolerance, accident prevention, and safety assurance.
-

Some minor corrections/changes were made up to the last update
