Yingsi Liang received her B.E. degree in communication engineering from South China Normal University, Guangzhou, in 2008, and her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, in 2010 and 2014, respectively. Her research has resulted in major contributions to the design of the enhanced WWVB broadcast, which the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) deployed in 2012, as well as to the development of the EverSetĀ® receiver technology for this broadcast. Her research interests include wireline and wireless communication systems, synchronization, channel coding, interference mitigation, digital signal processing, and optimization in the deployment of VANET.
