A. Junfang Yu is an Assistant Professor in the Department
of Engineering Management, Information, and Systems at SMU
He completed his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and M.S. in Operations Research at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1988 and earned his M.S. in Computer Science and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering at Louisiana State University in 1999.
He had worked as a Supply Chain and Logistics solution architect at i2 Technologies for six years and as an Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University for one year before he joined SMU.
He had also worked as a faculty at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests are in the areas of Supply Chain and Logistics Optimization and Supply Chain Systems Engineering. At i2 Technologies, he had provided many educational and implementation consulting to companies like IBM, Northrop Grumman, Honeywell, Cardinal Health, etc.
